Music Admissions
An audition is required for admission into the School of Music as a music major, music minor, or to take private lessons as a non-music major. The audition also determines music scholarship awards, with priority consideration given for auditions completed by February 28, 2026. If choosing Virtual Audition on your application, click here or the link below between February 1st and April 30th to submit your pieces via our portal. Students wanting to audition for Fall 2026 admission to the School of Music should follow the steps below. Virtual Audition Instructions:
- You may submit your pieces in one link, or split into multiple links.
- Make sure to submit by March 1st for priority scholarship consideration.
- If you have any questions, feel free to respond to this email or reach out to the instructor listed on your audition requirements.
- If you decide to come in person, or need to cancel, let me know and I can update your application.
- Acceptance results will be communicated mid to late March.
- Scholarship Offers will be communicated in April.
